About Me

Hello Friends and Virtual Armchair Travelers!

I am Sally Hanarahan.  My Friends call me Sal.  My passion is photography and I would do it full time if I didn’t have to have a real job.  I usually spend all my free time outdoors, kayaking, (yes I take my camera in the kayak with me) biking, hiking and gardening.   Oh, and writing my blog!

The purpose of my blog is to be able to share with you, the places I go to get away from the hustle and bustle or….. put myself right in the middle of it.  I’ll share my photos of the places I visit and tell a story to go with them. Sometimes they will be right around my town of Reno Nevada, or I might take a trip to the East or West Coast.   So, sit back….relax…..and enjoy the journey.

“The Journey That You Take Is More Important Than Your Destination”

If anyone knows who’s quote this is let me know.  I’ve searched everywhere, but there doesn’t seem to be anyone to claim it.
